We need a group of interested citizens in Kentucky’s 1st Congressional District to contact Energy Subcommittee Chairman Congressman Whitfield about matching Federal funding for The Oil Prize. Since The Oil Prize fund is spent only upon progress in reducing the cost of algae oil, it can reduce both the level of Federal expenditures and the risk exposure of those expenditures; unless actual price-reduction of algae oil is achieved, there are no Federal expenditures at all!
